What is Quark?

Quark is made by mixing cow’s milk with natural lactic acid. Chemistry then works its magic, causing the whey in the milk to split from the curd. Whey, hey, quark is made.
Quark is mild and creamy; it’s neither sweet nor sour and has a very thick yoghurt-like texture. It’s naturally high in protein and low in sugar, especially compared to its yoghurt friends.
The high amounts of calcium and both vitamins A and B inside will help strengthen your bones and teeth, it supports your nervous system and what’s more, it’s great for your eyesight! It’s like the doctor you’ve always wanted. It can also, if you’re diabetic, be a healthier option than yoghurts which can be high in fat and salt as Quark can help prevent high blood sugar. It’s also great for lactose intolerants as the good bacteria in the product make it less aggressive on the digestion system, making Quark an all-rounder.
